Arab Spring: What's Next? All the citizens of these countries want to do is to be happy. They have corrupt governments that don't allow them to voice their opinions. I don't think the U.S. needs to get involved in the politic part of the uprising, but if defenseless people are being blown away by safisticated armies, than yes I want the U.S. to butt in and take charge of the hostile situation. The Middle East countries should set up a democratic government, therefor the people can vote for the person they want to fill the position of leader. Arabs have even go to the extremes of putting their leaders on trials, and they threaten any others who dare to hurt their course of plans. Just like the Civil Right Movements, this will not be an easy or short battle. It will take years, maybe decades for the rights of the people to be honored by the leaders. In the end though, the blood, sweat, tears, and cost will all be worth seeing future generations living a better life.
